Levels

Choose Beginner (JLPT N5–N4), Intermediate (N3) or Advanced (N2–N1). The tutor adjusts its vocabulary, grammar and speed to the level you pick.

What a turn looks like

  1. You speak (in Japanese, or in English, Cantonese or Mandarin if you are stuck).
  2. Japan Cat replies in Japanese out loud, shown on screen with furigana.
