Standard Japanese is based on Tokyo speech, but Kanto has its own casual flavour. These 16 cards — 11 words and 5 grammar endings — include 〜じゃん, 〜だべ, 〜っす, かたす (tidy up), 超, かったるい and the Edo-era べらぼう. All casual; 13 at JLPT N3 and 3 at N4.
